20th Century French Commode
French style commode featuring solid cast brass overlay and hardware, burl inlay, serpentine drawer fronts and rounded sides. This commode chest features three large, well sliding drawers.
The age of the chest appears to be the latter half of the 20th century. The lacquered finish has been restored and the top polished to a high gloss. The cast brass overlay has been lacquered to retained its polished state. Drawer bottoms are all in good condition with no staining.
