Early 19th Century Pine Farmhouse Dining Table
This rare early 19th-century farmhouse table exudes charm only present in certain antiques. Crafted from solid pine with turned oak legs, its worn surface and rich patina is a testament to over two centuries of use. The top is constructed from 4 pine planks joined together with tongue and groove joinery. Visible nail heads span the length of each plank, attaching the top to the base. The table features a pair of large drawers positioned at either end of the table, each constructed from solid pine and joined with hand cut dovetail joints. The drawers retain their original solid wood turned knobs. The table includes a set of 4 steel castors, likely not original to the piece and added at a later date. The table was acquired from an estate out of Richmond, VA.
